Geothermal Installation in an Occupied Home
Identify the days or stages when the existing heating system must be disconnected. Put temporary comfort arrangements, access to occupied rooms and the order of indoor work in writing. A proposal should also say who repairs any opened walls or ceilings.
Outside, agree on the access route and the area available for work. A finished lawn, narrow gate, driveway or planned patio can change coordination even when the final loop occupies little visible space. Read the yard restoration checklist before agreeing on the site-work boundary.
